Mission of Dressage4Kids, Inc.:
To encourage riders under 21 to become true horsemen with correct position, competitive skills, and knowledge of all aspects of riding and horse care; to offer scholarships to enable competitors to further their education; to have fun and develop good sportsmanship throughout.

SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES:

Applicants must have competed in the Youth Dressage Festival, the Weekend Educational Program or the FEI Pony Clinic within the last two years, be actively pursuing a specific goal, and be able to demonstrate ability commensurate with stated objectives.

The Scholarship moneys must be used for specific educational expenses that include, but are not limited to, seminars, workshops, clinics, and training programs.

Programs must have a stated objective, a defined beginning and end, and must be for the specific purpose of advancing the individual's horsemanship skills, knowledge, or experience.

Scholarship Awards will be paid directly to the individual upon submission of an expected educational expense budget and a signed Letter of Agreement. Any money awarded but not spent to achieve the goal outlined in the Application must be returned to Dressage4Kids, Inc.

Scholarship Awards generally range from $100 to $500, but may be more generous, depending on funds available and the scholar's goals.

As part of this acceptance letter it is understood that you agree to share your experience with the Lendon Gray Scholarship Award Committee and with the Dressage4Kids community. Therefore, we ask that you e-mail your report to Lendon Gray, graydresge@aol.com; and to Ann Pereira, annper1@aol.com. Please note that submitted materials may be used for publicity purposes to advance the overall awards program
